You can enjoy dirt roads with a Harley once you get past the fear of scratching the paint and chrome and be able to pick up your bike. You just have to relax, enjoy the ride. I ride the rock/ sand roads down here in Florida all the time would estimate about a thousand miles a year. They run from lime rock to packed sand, in the wet season they are grooved mud bogs, in the dry season they are sand pits.
