Just read the whole article Ed linked to. My favorite was the squatters getting restraining orders against the Donovans because they were "afraid for their safety" (the day after they were ordered to leave the house).

If it was me, then that'd be a legit complaint because I'd come blazing in with a shotgun blasting anything that twitched.

Then again, our government has pretty much said "your property rights mean jack shit and you don't really own anything. We just allow you to stay on it" so why not. Now excuse me while I go squat at Elton John's bitching condo here in Atlanta.

Must not. I have a hard time imagining it making it to this level of BS in say Al-a-Bama, south Georgia, or the mountains of Tennessee. It's not that hard to bury some bodies. Though you'd think it wouldn't be too hard to hide bodies in Colorado.

I would have walked into MY house I pay the mortgage on. As soon as I seen them, I would have drawn my weapon. Any failure to exit the building would have resulted in dead bodies.
