My sister used to train police dogs / Schutzhund attack dogs (where I learned a lot of useless german) / and assist dogs (paws for a cause for the blind/deaf/disabled).

It is no fun being the "dummy"... Those dogs can be mean as hell when they need to be.

The thing about Police dogs is, at least for the PSP, you are on call 24 hours a day. There's no off time.

When I was in Japan a big bar fight broke out in the Marine bar. SF showed up and set the dogs loose. That building was empty in seconds.

So when do they get them addicted to all the drugs so they can sniff them out so easily?

Yeah but all of those guys are talking in french, even the so called bad guys. I just assume its in France.

I have met several people in the US who speak to their dogs in other languages for that purpose. Seems to work well.

Schutzhund training is all in German... I now know dog commands in German... not that I would ever use them...

Sam... Sitz (actually just means seat... not sit)

Aus... Guter Junge.
