I listen to fiction and nonfiction audiobooks when I walk my dog. The two latest ones I enjoyed were "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein (it's narrated by a dog), and "It's Called Work For a Reason" by Larry Winget.

The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brian. Excellent book. If I Die in a Combat Zone, Box Me Up and Ship Me Home is another of his that's a good one. Dunno how they play out on audio books, but they're some gripping stories.

yeah My dad read The Things They Carried... said it was excellent... but I'll download it later... as he's riding with me... doubt he'll wanna hear a book he's read.

What the hell? That's the phrase in an Army running cadence (or one version of such.. other versions are "bury me in the leaning rest", etc.). :lol:

The Aubrey/Maturin Series by Patrick O'Brien - Great adventure series. Hstorical fiction
The Post American World by Fareed Zakaria - Just finished this, book on globalization if you want to learn something. Non-fiction
The Areas of My Expertise by John Hodgeman - Very funny, if you like the Jon Stewart book youll probably like this.

Marley & Me - great book, haven't seen the movie
are you a Harry Potter fan at all - all those books should take you a long ways
Stephen King books are always great
