Yea I'd prefer not to be in the Middle East and if I had a time machine, I would go back in time and try to convince this country not to sell all of it's oil overseas back in the 1800s and early 1900s. I'd tell them not to get involved in the petty European conflict called WWI. That's what started us down this path of "policing the world" which led to WWII, Korea, Vietnam, South America, etc. Most of all, I'd tell them to stay as far away from getting involved in the Middle East as possible. No aid, no trade, no nothing and especially no involvement in the establishment of Israel. Let them fight it out amongst themselves. Who knows? It might have been over by now if all the outsiders had stayed out of it.
