I think they have rod bearing issues when you start modding it. My buddy bought an 02 for 3500 and rebuilt the engine. Some badass was racing it all the time.

Personally, I like Subarus alot and 10.5k doesn't seem all that bad for what it has.

Offer him 9 grand.

It sounds like you are looking for justification, and not opinions.

Take it to the Subaru dealer and get their opinion on the car before you put any money down.

There will be other cars if this one is no good.

never put your car on craigslist unless you want ppl showing up with cash of your asking price lol, damn that increased my time table

Honestly, I like the car. I'd have a subaru dealer check it out and give it a total clean bill of health, once you've done that, I"d say its a nice deal. from what I'm seeing, the motor was replaced pretty much when the owner decided to start building it up really.
So long as it was maintained properly and the owner didnt beat it like a drunken hillbilly beats his redheaded stepchild, you're good.

Rockslide has the road blocked/closed for the foreseeable future. Unless you go across the skyway and back across, you are fucked.

hanging out with my dad, he is in town just for that weekend. Dragon will most likely still be closed. I wouldn't come this way until you know for sure it is back open.
