I am a bit more dilligent now with riding on and off the construction site, lots of dirt, dust and mud I have to ride thru getting in and out so I try to keep the chain and the bottom of the bike cleaned rather often.

Honda does seem to have a decent shaft. The Shadows and VTX's come shaft drivin.
