No, the birth certificate has never been an issue for me. I knew/know his true birth certificate will come out if he wants to be on the ballot in Florida for 2012. He couldn't get a Driver's License in Florida based on what he has produced thus far. He will have to come up with the real deal to qualify for the ballot here. They changed the rules here. Ask anyone who has tried to get or renew a driver's license lately. The rule for identification is pretty tough here, including when you want to file a petition for office

The DMV would require going down to the Health Dept to see someone's original, non-replicated birth certificate? Hardly.

The health dept here requires a birth certificate before they will provide service to a minor child.

The DMV here requires a married woman to bring her marriage certificate/license before they will put her married name on the license, even if their last license they are re-newing has their married name

NYC gives out something saying they have the birth certificate unless you are willing to travel to the city for a copy of your birth certificate. So far it has worked just like a birth certificate for me.
