Front wheel drive + high hp = CV shaft spitting out of the transmission.

Just a guess though. I hope it's not that ugly.

Usually rex's are good for high power tho. I'm guessing he was playing and broke a control arm.

yup his scuby is 4wd, and I dont think Ive ever heard of a wrx loosing a front CV.

Subies have had a longitudinal engine layout since the dawn of fucking time. Even their fwd offerings are basically rwd with steerable wheels

That's exactly what I'm thinking, he slid the front into something and tucked a corner.
