Bing - and why I hate it
I'm noticing more and more websites with hyperlinks to bing searches built into them, many times they dont even look like hyperlinks until you roll over it with the mouse, then it pops up this 4" window that you cant close. For that I hate you Bing, although your ability to preview porn before I start streaming it is pretty cool

OSP has the same one and he got his a few months ago too...he says his default is Bing too...:idk: |
A few Verizon smartphones are Bing only now....its what steered me to get another Incredible instead of something else. You have to root them to use the Google stuff....crazy.

The only thing bing is good for is the porn viewing feature on their video search engine. Combine that with incognito mode on chrome and its a great way to watch some pretty fucked up shit.

stands for BECAUSE IT'S NOT GOOGLE

I wonder if it's because it's thru verizon??? Mine's sprint.

My Torch has Google as default but it also lets you change it...Although Bing is not on the list.

yahoo live search wikipedia dictionary.com (I have an app installed that might have put that there) |

It's not just Bing!, but Yahoo and Google also. It seems that every time that I install some piece of software, be it Adobe Acrobat, a skin for Firefox, or the latest version of Messenger, someone is pushing their toolbar and search engine on me. All that it takes is a moment's inattention to end up with my search preferences all screwed up, and more real estate on my desktop taken up by someone else's shit.
It's bloody ridiculous and this "opt out" model has to be changed to "opt in", before I decide to go running through a software house swinging a machete. |
