Too Much Pink?

Well, my GF wanted her head light done in pink so WTF why not? What do you all think? I think that it's not my style :pebbs: but I have to admit that it does look kinda cool at night.:rockwoot:

I would be scared of getting a ticket every time I went out at night. I don't think we can do that in TN. That's too close to red.

Avatard 01-01-2011 03:33 PM

Yeah, that looks like an invite to a ticket.

There's high intensity bulbs that glow all kinds of fucked up colors anymore.

Doesn't someone make a pinkish one? Not that it might not also provoke a ticket from a cop with nothing better on his agenda, but it may be a tad bit more discreet.

TYEster 01-01-2011 03:35 PM

Now I would say it's too much.

Mr Lefty 01-01-2011 03:36 PM

depends on just HOW pink the color of the light is at night.... I see guys driving with fucking purple headlights... hell I've even seen pink... but it was a really light colored light... enough to tell it's pink but not enough to confuse it with red.

Too much, gonna get a ticket and looks super-squidly. That and someone will mistake it for a tail light and think the road is clear, pull out in front of her, and take her out.

I could see this happening easily.

Looks kinda cool, rather see her other headlights though

Hahaha!!!

racedoll 01-01-2011 05:05 PM

Almost looked purplish without the light on. Otherwise it looks ok.

I'd worry about the functionality of it - for her being able to see and, more importantly, for others to see her.

No problems there and FWIW we aren't huge night riders anyway. A little in the city is about the max. My postition is I'll wait until she gets pulled over the first time and rip it off and install pinkish HIDs.:idk: This cost absolutely nothing but a scrap piece of vinyl and a 1/2 of my time.

At that rate, it's all pink on the inside...

True but we rode for a couple hours today and people definitely saw her!!! It's VERY visible and actually quite eye catching. It's hard to capture on camera but it shines VERY,VERY pink!!!

derf 01-01-2011 05:55 PM

Def not my thing, its just a little too much. The bike looked better without it

Not my cup of tea, but I think its looks pretty good.

smileyman 01-01-2011 08:33 PM

I like it bro. And I love bikes that are modded out of the ordinary. Something daring and different. When she dumps you I will buy the bike, as long as it comes with her number, LOL!

Yea I had to hose my bike off like a dirt bike when we got home! My GF said I was drifting a couple corners but nothing too serious. It was a good day!:rockwoot:

Homeslice 01-01-2011 09:39 PM

I'll say this, I like it a lot better than that "Barbie" decal.
