I have always been on the Viking side of the GB Minnesota rivalry, but for THE GB Packer to join Minnesota? It would be like Aikman signing with the Redskins! It just aint right.

actually i think it's funny that people get so wound up about it. what 's the matter you already had your fantasy football roster set before he came back and now you can't get him? LOL

seriously why does it matter. didn't minn lose a qaurterback in the last game or two? so they threw him an offer, and he was bored with life and said what the hell one more year or two. have you never quit something and then decided to go back to it? I have.

personally I can't wait to see the peopel around here when the Packers play Minn. it will be a good time that's for sure.

Seems like he is now villified in green bay, but I bet they will forget when he finally does retire and goes into the HOF as a packer.

BTW our fantasy draft is next week :lol:

We still do our drafts in person and that was the only time we could get everyone together. We usualy like ot have it the week before the season starts but what can ya do.

I'll Say this for the record. Knowing wis fans. If GB beats Minn they will all have their GB flags on their cars, you'll think they won the Superbowl early. If Minn wins they will be sporting Viking jerseys and saying they've always supported Brett and that he was totally mistreated in GB.

Probably,its the how quickly they forget thing in all sports. I do think him stinging this stuff out was kinda BS though even when he did it in GB. Shoulda just done a farewell season/tour and be done but now hes like kiss and will tour for another 20 years :lol:

I haven't researched it yet, but I heard today that his contract is guaranteed, since he actually filed the proper retirement paperwork a few months ago. Since he was officially retired for X amount of days, Minnesota had to guarantee his contract when he signed.

He's working the system I feel...Retire...Then change his mind...Not have to go to training camp like every other QB in the leaugue and then come back last minute and make a good chunk...

Crying over something may not be that big of a deal but holding a press conference and crying about leaving football and then coming back and then crying again and then coming back...and in between all of this saying you're coming back...no you're not...yes you are...stfu already. :idk:

They annoying part for me is this, He tell GB hes done, so they move on they prepare all off season and all camp with rodgers as starter. Then at the last min. Brett shows up and says "I wanna play" GB tells him Well Rodgers is our starter. We would love to have you in a back up role, he tells them no and goes on the news crying about how hes being mistreated. So GB tells him OK we will pay you 12 MILLION dollars to just stay retired. NOPE he wants to play so they say Fine we will release you as long as you don't play for someone in our divison. So what does he do. Spends a year in NY and then retires..... WAIT now that his year is up and he is out of the contract to not play for a division rival there he is in MN. The guys is an @ss and I hope he throws 5 picks a game.

The 5 INT's a game is a given. He's all but guaranteed to do that.
