So the ol' video of me doing a burnout on my old Ninja 500 got enough hits for YouTube to offer me money by putting advertisements on it. Interesting...

Anybody have any experience with this? Anybody make any money off their videos?

Since it took about four years to generate 30,000 hits, I would guess I'll be retired when I get my first AdSense check...

link the vid, it's not worth it to do adsense. I did it on here for a month or two when we first started.

I'm not sure why that would score so many hits..but I guess 30k in 4 years isn't all the great.

Why wouldn't it be worth it? Doesn't cost to sign up does it? Or is it just a lot of bs you have to fill out?

you can do it, but you have to make so much money to even get a check and its not worth it unless you can get enough clicks on the advertisers and no one clicks the advertisements.

So the payout is dependant on the # of clicks on the ads, not just clicks on your vid?

it use to, I dont know how it works now with the ads in the videos themselves. you may get paid per watch now.
