Speedracer42 02-19-2010 02:34 PM

Thats exactly why Ive never understood someone entering a nice car in something as cheesedick as a standing burnout contest.

Not that this particular camaro is nice. This is just a great example of what can happen

Homeslice 02-19-2010 02:46 PM

I don't get it.......Was only that tire spinning? The other rear wasn't.

Tuesday.

 Really? I mean... of all the things you can laugh at that video... look at the driver and THAT is the question you ask? I'd be shocked if all the tires match...

Cutty72 02-20-2010 11:39 AM

Hercules Tires

Must have not had a spare either, with all of them talking about a trailer.

SD Plates, it's a common thing to have an older camaro in something like that.

Huh... guess it's a really small town thing.
If I don't see 3-4 a year it's odd.

Depends on the place, some go by most smoke, crowd cheers, most rubber, or blown tire.

Maybe...

There was one at a bike night I went to in IA by Radical cycle.
Owner put a new rear tire mounted and balanced as the prize for the first that could blow theirs.

I thought about it, as i figured I only had about 500 miles left on my Corsa III anyway.
As it was a custom cycle shop, I asked first IF and how long it would take to get a tire for my Buell.

Guy figured 3-4 business days. I was leaving town in 3, and I was planning on a lot more riding, so I politely declined.

I will say the HD boys were pissed when a brand new GSXR 1K (that had just dyno'd 186 hp) went up there and smoked them all!

Or why would you stand around to see a burnout contest? I guess there is nothing to do in the town.

It's a small town thing. You wouldn't understand.

karl_1052 02-24-2010 12:03 PM

I'd be more pissed about the tire. A Camaro like that can be had for $25 in most places.

And am I the only one to notice that driver looks alot like CasterTroy before his diet?:?:

They're really lucky that no one was hurt!:panic:
