This makes me think of exxon's old put a tiger in your tank promo with the stuffed tigertails for your gas door

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

 Thats stellar.

Anybody remember the old dude at the top of the overlook that time with the red striped pattern bike hauling ass? Matching gear and all? That was epic. Best part was taking the helmet off and unfolding the 2 foot white beard. Awesome.

Avatard 02-11-2011 04:55 PM

The really funny thing is that something like that really isn't too over the top for him, from what I've seen. You sure it ain't really his?

:lmao:

So, it's tacky, not particularly extreme... Then you get to the tail and it's pure money.

I think it's "cool" in the sense that it's got a theme and he went for it. It's fun, I'm sure he enjoys it and that's all that really matters.:idk:

Heck, some stock bikes have gone over the top in the past imho...

Homeslice 02-11-2011 09:50 PM

Those are awesome IMO. Bikes with only 1 or 2 colors are boring, IMO.

Avatard 02-11-2011 10:03 PM

You like a whole rainbow of colors.

I can't stand multi colored bikes (more than three). They look way too busy.

Give me a solid white Duc 1098....with Ducati in black letters. :yum:

I agree 100%, opinions aren't worth anything... If you like it, more power to ya... Remember you're talking to a guy who's in the process of tearing down a near mint bike, that many look at as beautiful, and purposefully turning it into something admittedly ugly... Oh, and a guy who's first bike was an aquamarine 500R, with a giant purple stripe.

Is it just me, or does that CBR look like a giant bag of tortilla chips?

That was a purchase of necessity... Not that it was a bad looking rig (minus the Robbie D), it just wasn't my style.
