Those were some big ass rocks to be bouncing off of. That's why I'm slow. :D

tommymac 03-30-2012 08:45 AM

may be me but it seems like the guy was never in control of the bike and was in over his head.

Tmall 03-30-2012 08:48 AM

Lol, that would suck. I love how he's flying through the air as though he's still sitting down.

Check out this for a pucker moment...

Yep.

Shiny new bike.

Shiny new gear.

Shiny new camera.

Dull old rock.

I'd prefer to ride in the woods as opposed to the street. Those rocks don't pull out in front of you. Cars will. If you go off the trail and hit a rock, it's your own fault.

Definitely, guy looked scary going slow, should of never been going that fast.

That was my thought. That and, what did he keep looking at? He seemed unsure of so many things that when he sped up I knew it had potential for carnage.

I'm slow on dirt, I keep thinking I'm going to lose a spleen.

Dull? No way, looks like some very nice volcanic rocks. Old? Nah, probably less than 20 million years old.

OSP, don't get that camera, it can't stand up to a crash into a rock.

*note to self - stay on trail!

HokieDNA01 04-02-2012 07:26 PM

Had a similar accident on my last dirt ride. Front wheel got off track similar to him (due to a rut) and I went head first into a tree at a good clip. Concussion for a week. Dirt just seems so ....out of control to me even at slow speeds. Guess I'm spoiled by traction and responsive string/brakes on the street. Haven't touched my dual sport since.

Rangerscott 04-02-2012 08:15 PM

I've always wanted a dirt bike. Just no where to go.

LOL our dirt mantra...

"The fastest motocross rider is the least out of control"

I read somewhere that he cant wipe his own ass now because he is in adouble arm upper body cast or something or other like that.

jtemple 04-03-2012 08:49 AM

For me, it's like riding a big heavy mountain bike that you don't have to pedal. I'm a big chickenshit though; I don't go all that fast.

I know lots of Texans who ride dirt bikes. Of course the reason I know them is because they all come up to Oklahoma to ride our trails.
