I'm new here too!

Oooh ooooh me me! Ok, now that I've been called on.

My name is Trace.

I like long walks on the beach, mexican martinis, pretty gir....wait...wrong forum!

I've got a TLR and a Hayabusa. The TLR sits in the garage collecting dust for a little while longer, but it's tricked out, so I can't sell it. The Busa has 50k on it and has seen 46 states so far. I like to ride, and ride far away.

I can't claim the Ducati yet. She might strangle me. I've already been promised a key to it though, so :dthumb:for that. :D

Ninjakel 11-06-2008 11:33 AM

she's teasing you about the key.

No chance.... LOL

dReWpY 11-06-2008 11:35 AM

how do you like the TL?

NeonspeedRT 11-06-2008 11:36 AM

Whats up Trace. So when you coming back to visit Nee and I in Jax again?

Rider 11-06-2008 11:38 AM

Welcome.

The TL is neglected - he rides his Busa more than anything... if just because he regularly wakes up and wants to go to New England for the afternoon (and does).

He is dating Archren (just for her 1098)

Yeah yeah... you have to fight Moira for it though. She's ridden my bikes more than you have.

:D

G-Rex 11-06-2008 11:39 AM

Where's the *you just opened a can of worms* smiley?

I love it! It's a 2000 model. I bought it used with 4k in December of 2000. It's sitting in the garage right now with 30k on it.

I've put alot of extras on it, including Marchesini wheels, full titanium Yoshimura exhaust, Penske shock, Traxxion forks, braided lines, etc. etc., she even has a little motor work.

It winds up quicker than anything I've ever thrown a leg over. It handles like a dream, rides beautifully, and the sound is OMG to die for.

I'll never sell it. :D

Ninjakel 11-06-2008 11:40 AM

Leon said the same thing about his TL. He sold it. I'm still sad too

I've ridden The Bone's TL....fun bike. It's handling felt a bit "odd"...but I was riding it right after riding my GSX-R750....but you are dead on about the sound. That bike sounds KILLER.

Quick, post a ride report. Need some normalcy.

G-Rex 11-06-2008 04:51 PM

This is from the last bike ride I took. :)

It was a warm morning already when I donned my leathers to depart. Leathers. Check. Gloves. Check. Helmet. Check. Ducati. Check.

We departed, Carolina in her car, and me on her Ducati following. (Hey, the view is better if I'm behind her. ;) )

The neighborhood is twisty, so I only got a knee down once or twice (KIDDING!). We finally made it out to the interstate and began the drone south to Harris Hill. We passed the exit, made a stop for gas and breakfast, and then on to the track we went.

Got to the track and I got out of my leathers. Hung out with Moira and a bunch of track riders, I helped provide Subway lunch to everyone while Carolina and I both chased two crazy little girls, and ate some lunch ourselves.

It was time to go. I put the leathers back on, sweating my ass off (Thanks Texas :D) and took off for Austin. Carolina followed me this time since I wanted to flog the Duc a little bit. We got back, made dinner, and called it a day. :D

Normalcy returned.
