I just wear cold weather gear. Last year I rode in 16 degree weather. Even did a ride in hte mountains on roads similar to Deal's Gap with gravel, ice, and 30degree weather. I ride in rain quite often.

I'd rather ride than drink for the most part. But when it is against the law to ride, I'm left with either Crown or a snowboard. And until the slopes open, I'm left with only Crown.

There are only 2 seasons in Michigan......Scooter and Hockey. Also known as winter and road construction.

Yea, I've been in Ohio for damn near 21 years... and I can't fucking stand it. The only time I can begin to enjoy is fall. Spring is too wet, summer is too goddamn humid, and winter is too cold... snow doesnt really bother me though..

What gets me through the winter... beer, playing hockey, the new Moto GP game, and dreaming of moving to LA in a year....

Not at all! The cost of living here is quite low. I personally know people who are paying even less for a house. I pay $400 for a decent sized apt. A huge 2 bedroom is $550 (approx) in this complex. In fact,I talked to a couple last week that wants to rent their 1600 sq/ft condo for $600 a month.

I also didn't have a choice I loaned my car to my parents and it was my only mode of transportation

Being in NC I don't have to go "months" without riding...ok maybe a month which sux but usually only "weeks" but that's about it. That's bad enough.

If it's not icy or snowing I take the Vette out...or go shooting...or skiing.

There's plenty to do to fill the void.

Spring and summer is the best though...riding...boating and the Vette. :drool:
