Not sure why some of these are so blurry... but oh well. :idk:

Lets just say that vids on the internet do NOT do this pipe justice. I'm happy just with the sound, and can't wait to get out and ride it!

stock pipe.

and the vid.

http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...Stockvideo.jpg

This bike is just stupid loud without an exhaust :panic:
But I couldn't resist...

And then the bread and butter...
Drummer. Kevin is the man.
Saves over 9 lbs of weight too!

Do you have any lights in your garage? If so, it would be great if you turned them on before taking pics and video.

And...that didn't seem to take too long to get that sucker. What an improvement over the stock pipe.

I have 3 lights in the garage. They were on. My camera sucks for light capture and flash usage.

And I apparently was close to the top of the list for getting one. It showed up at my door 2 weeks ago tomorrow, but with the flood, i've not had time to do anything with it.
I was very supprised when I got an email from Kevin saying he had one for me ready to ship, wondering if I still wanted it, and payment shipping info.

I think I got my original email to be added to the list in right away. I was one of the first 10.

Gas Man 04-05-2009 12:07 PM

FUCKIN SIIIIICKKK!!!!!

Way to go Cutty. Again... justice to your sig!

Have a nice deep rumble to them, a good sound on the tap, and weight savings... sounds like a complete package.

Cutty72 04-05-2009 06:31 PM

This pipe is rediculously loud!!!!

Rode about 10 miles, as it's Fin cold and wet and sandy out.
All i can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Yosh RS-3 on the SV, and that has a nice deep tone on it, and drowned out the stock pipe on the 1125.

The drummer at idle drowns out the SV at any RPM. :rockout:
I'd say it will give any harley (short of a straight pipe) a run for volume.
And great thump all the way up to redline!!! With no backfire on decel either...

Yeah... it's gonna be fun :D

Welcome to the fine world of owner a DRUMMER, my friend. If I know Kevin, you'll notice some performance gain as well.

Oh i'm sure. Haven't seen a dyno yet where it lost power anywhere. Pretty much identical lines, just increased a few hp.

if mother nature ever gets off the damn rag and lets me ride, maybe i can find out.

marko138 04-07-2009 09:05 AM

I'm sure you'll have the same feelings I do everytime I start the bike. The sound is just unreal. I love it. As long as I own any Buell motorcycle it will only have a Drummer pipe. I didn't even know what the fuck a Drummer was when I bought it. Never heard of it.

I like how cutty tried to make this a suspenseful thread when he started it, but then couldn't hold back from posting videos.

Archren 04-07-2009 10:17 AM

That thing sounds AWESOME! :dthumb:

ontwo 04-07-2009 10:43 AM

That thing sounds sick as hell. Congrats

na, I just started the thread before I went to the garage to put it on. Posted vids and pics when it was done.

I was curious if people would figure it out before the vid/pic though.

I knew right away. Though, anyone who doesn't own a Buell probly didn't.

Yeah. Figured you, Gas, OSP, and FtBstrd would get it. Wasn't sure about the rest.

Funny, Odie still hasn't gotten back to me, so he must be having problems with his design.
Too late now :D

Gas Man 04-08-2009 11:18 AM

For sure Cutty... SICK

I'm still interested to see what he comes up with. There could be a CR in my future...more likely a XBS.

I am too. Last I talked to him, he was mostly redoing internals on the stocker. Wanted to keep same basic shape, but make it louder and lighter, as that is what many people were looking for. He wasn't real concerned with power gains so much as not losing any, and keeping the powerband smooth and linear.

For sure that should be cheaper than the Drummer, but well... I'm impatient.

marko138 04-08-2009 04:52 PM

Nice. I don't mind the shape or look of the stocker. It fits the line of the bike. And no power loss is a must.

It does fit, but I couldn't belive how heavy it was! A full 20 lbs!!

I should see if I can get it warrantied, as it is rusting badly, and then try and sell it.

marko138 04-09-2009 07:54 AM

Not a bad idea. Recoup some of that Drummer money.
