Hell of a deal.

tommymac 05-26-2009 04:37 PM

so long as you want the red and white one. With the other 2 one is only large and the other is 2x small.

Dont' need a new helmet.

The colors don't match my gear.

Bought one anyway.

Maybe I'll use it on the mini bike. :idk:

Thanks Tigger!

6doublefive321 05-27-2009 03:24 PM

Damn, what a deal. Can't do the colors. Any leads on a cheap, black, flat black, grey, orange, or combo? I need something to go with the KTM orange.

Splurge and get a RSR2 Shark Corser. :whatwhat:

Lucky3623 05-27-2009 04:03 PM

Bought that for the wife a while back. Same price. She loves it, minus the sweating.

I would want something in return for it. its a good helmet but I dont like the opening, seems to restrict my field of vision compared to my shoei, and arai.

Last time I was there the exchange rate was 27 baht to the US $. That's a lot of bang if you ask me.

If you mean they're heavy, bulky, and fall apart in a year, then I agree that its the best bang for the buck.

Buddy of mine just bought a shoei. He was convinced be msg reviews that scorpion was the shit. His didn't last a year.

Emblem fell off, cheek pad snaps separated from their anchors tinted internal visor doesn't stay up. That and its about twice the weight of my cheaper shark...

jalaan1 05-28-2009 12:39 PM

not bad @ all Tig, i was looking for a passenger/back up helmet too.

Interesting. I've read nothing but rave reviews on them.

Yea now Scorpion is working on a lid that allows you to remove the chin bar... sounds like CRAP to me!

Got the KBC today.

Quick shipping.

GREAT customer service!

Not a bad looking lid. I wouldn't spend big money on it but for $40 it's great.

It will serve go-kart, mini-tard, beach rides just fine.

Good heads-up, Tigger. :dthumb:

I got my KBC helmet from motorcycle-superstore on closeout for $40 :dthumb:

I've purchased alot of items from them on closeout. IMO, they have some of the best closeout prices and the customer service is excellent. :dthumb:
