Short little jaunt..

..and not even on my own bike, since this was kind of an impromptu trip.

Tracy (G-Rex) and I rode with his friend, Billy, from Oklahoma City to Clarksville, AR (approx. 260 miles one way) for a meet up of some fellow motorcyclists we know from the YouTube motorcycling community. Tracy rode his Busa, I rode his TL-R 1000, and Billy was on his VFR 800.

Pics are here: http://www.photoshop.com/user/archre...ackingid=BTAGC

Some folks on YouTube have already started posting some vids.. I'll link to some of the better ones once they're up..

And just for Nee.. at the end of this video, one of the guys got me doing a chicken dance. :) (ETA: Not my vid.. it was done by one of the guys at the meetup).

In all it was a fantastic trip.. and I totally am going to hate not being able to do any more trips "by way of motorcycle" for a year and some change, now that Tracy and Billy have bitten me with the touring bug. Something to look forward to when I get back..

Oh yeah!! Mustn't forget.. we did take a quick detour up the Pig Trail on our way home. I highly recommend it if any of you ever find yourselves in that area. :dthumb:

Dude, it was surface of the sun hot out on Saturday.. 105 when we rolled into Clarksville. He probably would have boiled off in the stitch.

The vid locked up on me before I could get to the GOOD part (ahem... chicken dancing)... I'll have to try it again later on (my PC is being wonky today)
