Dam bike won't start.

Bike has been in storage all winter. We got my husbands and it went no problem. Mine won't go. Charged up the battery which has been indoors ( not on cement) took out spark plugs and there's spark but she won't catch and run. Any ideas? Change fuel? ( just throwing out random guesses)

You toss in some stabilizer before you put it up?
Carbs might need cleaning

Proper winterization FTW. Stabilizer? Battery on a Tender all winter? None of the above? Drain the fuel and put fresh in. Thats where I would start, as you've verified there's spark. Is fuel getting in? No? Clean the carbs.

Won't go, as in....? Won't turn over? Won't even click? Or, turns over bit won't start?

Turned over a lot but just won't start. We got it going though. Greg turned some white dial Nob thing under the carb and she took off. Aren't you amazed at my command of technical terms?

Get some seafoam.

Pour it in the carb

Dump the gas tank gas

Let seafoam sit in carb overnight.

Put proper amount of seafoam in gas tank... if unsure... go with more. It won't hurt.

Refill gas tank.

Turn on gas to carb

Start bike.

Thats assuming the pilot jets are only partially clogged and not flat out plugged completely.

this "gas" if you can call that crap gas, they sell anymore is shit, and goes bad REALLY fast these days.

figure a good proper carb cleaning for sure.

She went, thanks for all the advice though. I am jealous. I had to watch my husband ride it home from storage. Technically I think I still fit over the tank, but I know my pants and coat wouldn't fit and it's one thing to risk my own hide with this cities traffic, but another to risk the babies.. sigh..

Anyone wanna buy a bike?
