Awesome congrats!

There sure have been a lot of rides completed since I first got mine!

I did my first Bunburner 1500 in 2004 on the Hayabusa, and my IBA # is 18858. I still haven't done a Bunburner Gold. I want to though.

I'm planning a 50cc in April I think. Time to up the ante a little now that I have a proper long distance bike. LOL

Jacksonville, FL to San Diego, CA in 50 hours or less. It's not as bad when you think of it as two 1150 mile days. 5 hour sleep break in Texas. I got this. LOL

Iron Butt is impressive, for sure. I'd probably go insane trying to lay down that many miles in that amount of time.

Don't you get to the point where you're just droning along to make the goal? Do you still get to enjoy the ride, or do you spend your time pissing in a bottle on the road so you don't have to stop? :)

I can only speak for myself, but it's not like that at all. I enjoy the challenge of putting down the miles.

As for pissing in a bottle? Totally not necessary. LOL. I can/have done 1000 miles in 14 hours. That's easy. Having said that, it *is* mental. My first 1000 mile day took me 22 hours and kicked my ass. Now, 14 hours and I'm ready to go another few hundred miles if necessary. Just have to train yourself for it, much like anything else.

Congrats Trip!

One of these days, I'll come across the little piece of paper with my IBA #.
