LT gets released the other day now i tlooks like Westbrook is about to be released by philly.

Going ot be odd seeing them in different uniforms next year. Provided someone signs them.

Westbrook doesn't have much of a promising future if you ask me. And LT is nearly what he used to be but I think he'll still be effective for someone.

I heard about the LT release. My guess is LT ends up in NE. As far as Westbrook..... who knows.

Westbrook is too injury prone for anyoe to risk making him a huge part of their offense. But i think he coul dbe effective as a 3rd down scat back type player.

LT wants a super bowl so he will only want to talk to a select few teams.

Same thing happened with Shawn Alexander goes from league MVP to out of the league in like 3 yrs.

Yeah, if LT is only interested in a few SB contenders and no one wants him...then goodbye. He'll fall by the wayside like Alexander did. There are plenty of young studs who are healthy and will to play.

When you run THAT hard, it's hard to have longevity in the NFL.

True, whats the average length of a NFL career....6 or 7 years maybe?

Seems like the shelf life of RB's is getting shorter and shorter esp when there seems to be a good crop comming out of college every year so a lotof these guys become expendable.

Yeah, sure does. A lot of guys this year made a name for themselves. Ray Rice jumps to mind.

I think the salary cap has also shortened some careers. Guys being released due to high salaries and stuff like that. Esp when they can just draft someone in the 3rd or 4th round who can do the job almost right away.
