Need recommendations for winter gloves

As I discovered on monday morning ( 25* ) my current cheapo gloves don't keep my hands warm.

Any recommendations for a good cold weather glove? Armored would be a plus.

Thanks
Jeff

have you tried heated grips?

Quick Fix til you find some. Wearing a set of latex or nitrile gloves under yours greatly increases their heat retention without adding bulk.

Sorry I don't have a recommendation, I wear my track gauntlets when it's cold. :idk:

Between 50-100 last time i looked at newenough. As far as recommending any brand...I live in Florida. So I don't actually know how great they work, maybe some of the northern folks will chime in in a bit.

though not a subsatute for winter gloves... Knox makes "cold killer" glove liners... they're wind proof.

I've thought about them several times... be nice for road trips where you might have a cold morning but warm in the afternoon... and you save weight by just carry'n these liners rather than heavier gear.

heh they arent winter gloves in the slightest but my timax originals dont let the cold in at all and you really cant get much more armoured than that lol

I checked out the Timax, a bit out of my budget right now. I'll also check out heated grips too. I'll need to see how much my alternator puts out.

Thanks
