All you can do is make the suggestion... people have to make the decision for themselves.

yeah, i posted "hope ya get better, anyone know if he was wearing gear, like a helmet etc.?" and ppl started texting me "take off your wall post. He didnt have a helmet on but it doesnt matter now. Dont start an argument on there"

personally i dont think i should take it off, i am not going to start an arguemtment but this could of been prevented and he is now a statistic. worst part is he has a gf that is expecting any day now and will never get to know her father. he has a 2% chance to make it till 12 et and then if he doesnt show brain activity they are pulling the plug.

the asshole in me says fuck em, don't take it off.

the little compassion that I have says it's a point not worth fighting. he learned his lesson now.

I think you should take it down... Put up a reminder to wear gear and keep that picture and the subsequent story to post up later down the road.

Im kinda with them, Id simply put up gear is important folks...or something like that...altho if you're getting hate mail, id be tempted to say fuck'em too.

I love the article spin...anyone notice how they manage to prettify the fact that this chick couldnt see oncoming traffic, was waved out by someone and was blocking multiple lanes, therefore endangering everyone on the road when the biker hit her and somehow she still seems the victim?

Is your name Will Monroe? If it is, that's not quite the way you put it. :lol

If that's not you, I don't see how your post will affect that conversation one way or the other compared to what Will said.

Whether that's you or not, it's hilarious that he tried to take a dig at the OP and wrote "grammer" in the same sentence.

You should know better, all motorcyclists are satan worshiping baby killing evil people. I think almost every article written involving a MC crash will spin it to make the rider look bad/be in the wrong.

A guy from CF a few years back was killed and the article made it seem like he was riding insanely fast. He was def a slower rider but level headed and several people complained about that, including people on that ride, but mr all knowing state trooper said otherwise so thats how it was. :td:

*psst* If you look at the FB posting, this is from April, and a previous incident, thus the "i saw this coming"...

dReWpY 08-31-2011 01:18 PM

The part of me asking about if he had a helmet was today. that was back a few months ago. Chi was right about seeing it coming....
