August 2011 POTM: Submission

Let's keep it going. We've had great participation and great photos. We are in the heat (literally) of the riding season.

Rules as always:

1. Picture must be motorcycle related.
2. Picture must be taken by YOU or have YOU in it.
3. Picture must be taken during the current month (July 2011)
4. Limit one entry per person per month.

Entries accepted until or about July 25, 2011.

Picture taken on 7/4/11 in Yorktown, VA. Picture is near Surrender Field on the Yorktown Battlefield Parkway, where Cornwallis surrendered (Oct, 19 1781) putting an end to the Revolutionary War.

I think that's the best looking Blackbird I've ever seen.

Thanks. It looks even better with my silver solo look seat I made. However I wasn't alone this day so I used my spare seat. Most of the stuff I added to change the look came from across the pond where they were more popular.

Yep, I love to see a clean older bike, too many of them seems to be under mounds of dust in that dark corner of the garage behind everything else not being used.

Resize my man. I'm sure there was a good looking bike somewhere in that massive frame.
