partly cloudy this afternoon .....

So I rode the ZR1100 to work ( 40 mpg beats the 15 mpg of the suburban ) . After lunch the wind picked up and I thought "ut oh" :tremble:

Sure enough the rain that they were calling for tonight arrived about 3pm.

I literally had a nice ride home in the rain. Pant legs got wet but other than that, a very enjoyable ride. We've had enough rain earlier that the roads were clean of oil and other slippery debris.

windshield made a big difference in the wet.

I'm not a fan of the windshield, but that's a GOOD looking bike!

Thanks. The windshield extends my riding farther into the fall/early winter and allows it to start earlier in the spring. Plus electric Gebrings gloves ( G3 )

So long as its not raining going to work I will take my chances riding. Dont care if I get soaked going home since I can change out of my wet gear as soon as I get home.

matter of fact I took my chances today, so theres a 60% shot of rain fo rme going home tonight.

Exactly. If I'm dry when I get to work, all is good. ( although I do keep a complete change of clothes in my locker )

Wet on the way home I don't care but I will admit, lightning scares me. :tremble:

Sixxer and I had a lightning bolt hit right next to us on 95 down in deleware or MD when we went to the twf rally a few years back. Just one of our many adventures on a rather crazy journey.
