That is alot of ugly cars.

i must agree with you Karl ^^^^^^^^

as much as i like the new Camaro, how (some of) these aftermarket guys turned a great looking car into a bunch of really ugly cartoonish vehicles i'll never know.

IMHO all the car needs is a slight drop, a modest lip and decent looking lightweigt wheels as far as looks go.

all that other stuff can go.

Don't get me wrong, it was ugly before the aftermarket touched it.

You can buy this for $30,000, and it will be parked in trailer parks everywhere in 3-5 years

Or you can buy this for $30,000. It looks better, is unmeasurably cooler, and will appreciate in value.

Assuming you:
A) don't care much about creature comforts, wind noise, etc
B) don't mind spending lots of time working on a car

While I would love to have my Mom's '68 SS, if I had it I'd be worried about driving it places, parking it places, keeping it running, sweating the daily wear & tear, and probably wishing it handled & braked like the new one.

For $30,000 you get no warranty, specialized parts that can disappear with no notice, unobtainium insurance rates, a deep seated fear of rain and no network of service or parts. But cool, that first gen has in buckets.
