Video Editors

Any video editors here who can point me to a user friendly program to edit videos?
Basically I have a camera at each end of a bike, and would like to put both videos on the same screen simultaneously (maybe like a picture in picture).

Thanks.

windows movie maker is surprisingly easy and can do a lot of stuff.

Windows 7 no longer comes with it. Try these:

I don't know if they'll work for you or not. I don't do much fancy stuff w/my videos.

I personally love iMovie.. not sure if you can use it on a windows computer though.

You can download windows movie maker for free still. http://explore.live.com/windows-live...maker?os=other

I have limited experience with Photoshop premier elements. That program was a bit confusing at first, but it's very customizable once you get used to it.

I remember trying that, and it wouldn't work for me. I can't remember exactly why, but I think it had to do with capturing video from my camcorder. I use VirtualDub for that now.

So, somebody hooked me up with Sony Vegas Pro 9. Jeebus Christmas, any of you who this regularly have my respect. I suck at this.

Three damn days it has taken me just to get a split screen version of it done. I ended up learning how to do stuff with it by watching youtube videos.

Vegas is a pain in the ass. It doesn't do anything intuitively. It's all Sony bullshit.

I would agree. While it does a ton of stuff, I am in over my head. I don't know what 3/4 of the icons are/do. I tried Windows Movie Maker, but I had to keep downloading different things to do anything other that copy. I clearly have the 1984 version of it.....
