Nissan blasting other Jap automakers?

I never really paid attention to this commercial, but they have been playing it a lot. Are they blasting other Jap automakers cause of earthquake damage? Apparently the Japanese looters are the ones in control of companies...

I think you hit it SPOT on. But I don't know the current condition of the other jap automakers.

I said the same thing to my wife the other night. It took her a bit to make the connection and then she was like, "That's just MEAN!"

There is a reason old Nissan pickups are commonly seen driven by illegal immigrants.......They are the only ones whose values has dropped far enough for them to afford.

I saw that but I didn't think about it being due to the earthquakes.
I was thinking that maybe some of the other makers had scaled back their production due to economic reasons.
That is a really good point, though.
Be careful, Nissan, or the other Japanese automakers are going to send O'ren Ishii to collect your f*ckin' head.

Or maybe they are saying the others could be back at full capacity, but are holding prod. Down to increase demand (price)

I see that more. Plus, this commercial is marketed towards Americans and Honda/Toyota make a good portion (if not all) of their cars in the US.

If that was played in Japan, it would be a different story.
