Man exits NYC subway turnstile, pushed kid out the way, kid said "What the hell"
man returns, states "I'm waiting" the kid gives him a beat down.

Decent shots....should have finished him with one punch had he created the right amount of distance between them first.

First two rights looked pretty fucking weak, but the left caught flush... It doesn't really matter how hard you hit... if you can touch that button - it's over.

I wonder WTF that nerdy dude was thinking... his glasses were off and in his right hand... maybe he's left handed, but IDK, if I'm going to throw down the first thing I do is make sure my hands are free or holding something that I could use to beat someone with... and when the guy drops his backpack, you KNOW it's on... and that fool froze... The second he started dropping that backpack, I'm shoving the dude to get some distance or headbutting him right in the fucking mouth.

"Tough guy" is a typical NYC drama queen (key word "queen") who probably just saw some scrawny kid and thought he could intimidate based on size and attitude.
That shit might work in the fashion District or Hell's Kitchen but as shown in the video, it they can't be bothered to buy clothes that fit them they are not going to be bothered to have a "oh snap...no you Deee-YID-ENT!!!" contest.

Since there is no other facts on this I'm not going to assume that the guy pushed the kid or started it. All I do know is that the kid finished it.

I like how quilted down coats (which used to be considered "farm boy" gear when I was growing up) have become the urban "de rigueur"
