Losing interest....
I'm having a stretch where my interest in riding has REALLY tailed off...I've spent quite a bit of time thinking about a "why?" and am drawing a blank. I'm not any more risk averse than I ever was....and I still enjoy it when I DO go ride...but...I just don't make the time to get out there as much as I have in the past.
Anyone else have stretches of casual disinterest in riding like this? |

It usually happens around November\December and last to about March. Maybe you should sell the bike and get a Ducati. Put a nice exhaust on it. Get a cool helmet that says Brony on the side. That's a great way to reinvigorate the ridin gland |
I am with PD... get a different bike. Something that really gets the blood going.
I follow roadcraftnottingham on youtube. He purchase the new Tuono V4 and openly said it totally reinvigorated his passion for riding.... |
Funny. I just sold my last Hawk GT this morning. As in...I now have no bikes. Wait, did I just disqualify myself from posting here anymore?...Dammit!

The harley killed my passion for riding as well. Sold it in June. Hopefully next year ill get a busa or zx14.

I have been pretty disinterested as well. I don't commute to work since I wear scrubs and also I eat breakfast and dinner in the car. Which leaves my days off to ride, but I have been so busy lately with the new house and just being exhausted with a new career and long hours at work that I when I do have a free moment I just want to lay on the couch.
I do need to get out more though |
I'm now currently addicted to riding on the Track...My STREET Riding has lowered.
On the track, Is a different story. |
I lost interest for a while. Strange enough, it was the second year I had the track. Frankly, I think I burned out on it. I mean, we went through 11 sets of tires the first year. And I was driving the car and went through 3 sets of tires on a Mini Cooper. We weren't racing any of it - just riding like hell.
I think it turned into a lot of work for me. I took a few months off, which was tough working for BMW. I know - first world problems with my hand on my forehead. But, I'm now back into it full swing. I'm riding on the street for my own entertainment again which hasn't happened in a long time. Pace yourself, man. You DID just get a new sportscar... |

I still want the M109-R...no other bike out there right now fires me up like it does...well, except for the Triumph Rocket III Roadster...but...that will need to be a project for another day. |
Nowadays I only ride when the weather is perfect, like today. A new bike would be nice.
