Sadly, I've seen similar. I was an apartment manager for a few years and I found one woman who lived like that. Had to do maintenance and found the place similar to that, but not quite as bad. Didn't matter that it wasn't THAT bad, it was still bad enough to qualify for immediate eviction.

I've seen pics of people's house in base housing on base. Let's say the link Rider gave us is a 10 in regards to nastiness, the base housing pics were like a strong 7.
