Michelin vs Bridgestone
 

Im ordering new tires this week and just wanted some input on my two choices from people who may have used one or bot of them. Ive narrowed it down to either pilot powers or bt-016s. Any suggestions? Ive got bridgestones now but theyre old and shitty and havent ridden either of these tires.

The BT-016s take a little longer to warm up to operating temperature but once warm they are sticky. Mileage wise they last about the same. I liked the pilot powers a little better just because I never once had them slip until they were almost all used up. The bridgestones stepped out a time or 2 on me when cold.

I heard that from a couple people but with being able to find them cheaper I figured Id get some more input to make sure I should go PP. Thanks.

This deal is pretty hard to beat.

POWER RACES 4 TIRE DEAL

Ever ride the 'stones in the rain? Their lack of sipes on the side makes me leary of wet weather riding.
The PP's are fantastic in the rain.

I rode 4 hours in a pouring rainstorm when I rode home from the MotoGP race in Indy. They felt fine and I kept an average of about 75mph the entire ride home.

I doubt those would suit my riding style very well but good looking out.

I was curious about that too.

Id love to give a comparison of the two but in my personal opinion there is no comparison. The Pilot Powers are by far the best street tire Ive ever run. Well I take that back I ran some Pirellis that were pretty good but I only ran them for a bit so I didn't really get a chance to give a good hard run. I have run powers on the bike I have now for 3k miles, and ran a few track days on the same tires. I don't see myself going to any other tire. Except for maybe a dual compound tire if I start taking more long trips like Id like to. The Stones are fine for general riding and even some real hard riding but if your gonna wanna take it to that next level or hit the track with em Id say PILOTS ALL THE WAY!!! just my opinion though and you know what they say about opinions.

Just ordered a set of the bridgestones since I found quite a few good reviews. Plus I got them for only $233 shipped, so if I dont end up liking them its not a huge deal.
