Rejoining the world of the employed, finally!!! (cross post from Femmes)

I had an interview last week, the longest interview of life BTW, it lasted 2 hours. Anyway, got called for a 2nd interview which I had yesterday, which also lasted about 2 hours... ugh, but, I got the job and was hired in making more money than I was making at my last job! Woo hoo!!

I'm going to be the Inside Sales Coordinator for a company that designs and manufactures wrought iron and glass doors, and other wrought iron "stuff." www.collettidesign.com is the company's website. Who knew that wrought iron doors could cost 20k.

Anyway, I'll be the liaison between sales, customers, CAD, design department and manufacturing, to make sure projects are spec'd correctly and are on time, etc. As the company is growing, the plan is that I will be trained and brought up to speed on things, and as more sales people are hired, more Inside Sales Coordinators will be hired, and I'll be the department manager.

The only downside is that they don't offer health benefits at the moment, but they are planning on implementing a benefits package not too far down the road. In the meantime, my increased pay will help offset us having to get insurance on our own so its not that big of a deal.

Thanks kids! And Ebbs, you are correct. At least if I get sick I don't have to spaz out about how to pay for a Dr's visit now. :)

I know  I was an ironworker for 5 years and personally remanufactured the wrought iron railing in the Bourse Building in "Olde City" Philadelphia PA. It's very labor intensive but the end result is well worth the time spent.

Congrats
