Steering nut size?
Are all honda bike's steering nut the same size? Anybody know if other bike manufactures are the same size as honda's?
|
I don't know - most steering nuts on bikes run from 4'10" through 6'6", depending on type and age...:idk:
:sorry: :bigrofl: |
Also gender. You know women cant drive. Put em on a bike and "HOLY SHIT ITS ARMAGEDDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" :hangman: :poke:
There's a reason why bikes are two seaters.................O hell I gone and done it know havent I. |
I don't know specifically for honda but I think the common sizes are 27, 32 and 36MM. if you have these three you should have the right size with you.

I have a '99 VFR in the garage I've been babysitting for the last 3 years for my best friend..
I just walked out and checked, and it is a 30mm. Hope that helps for what you're looking for. |
Thanks G. I have a thats Scotts damper arriving wednesday and I think its mount requires me to drill/tap my triple and I dont want to do that.
Their new kit replaces the stock nut with a special nut and the damper mount surrounds it and set screws hold it in place. I dont want to pay $140 for a mounting kit when I just need two pieces so hopefully I can find a kit on ebay for cheap with the same nut size I need. |
