Just change the muffler bearings from steel to ceramic. The will normally do the trick. There is also a sound card in your ECU. You can just purchase a new one from Morotrcycles Unlimited (ask for Brandon) to adjust the volume as well.

Although changing the bearings is a bit more work, it is a much cheaper fix.

I don't know... hell I fell for shit like that when I first joined the Army. When people ask technical questions I normally just help them in stead of making fun of them, but that's just me.:idk:

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I agree.

We all started somewhere, and I'm not sure why everyone hates these kids so much. Maybe they are squids, but how many of us have been uber squidly at some point?

I rode in shorts and a tank top once. :scared:

you missed out on a lot of fun then.

when we were coming out of the sandbox we had to get every vehicle inspected. I told one guy that I knew he had been racing through the desert because his shocks needed calibrated. I sent him to motor pool and they sent him to another company, they sent him to another, finally after being sent to 4 different companies he came back, wasn't very happy but it was funny as hell that so many other people went along with it.

Seriously, call Brandon at MU, tell him Tim sent you. They usually carry the ceramic bearings and sound cards in stock.

Maybe, besides that was a release of tension after the stresses of battle. This is just a way for bored desk jockeys to take advantage of someone who doesn't know any better.:idk: Almost everyone changes their exhaust to make it louder. I thought that he had a legitimate question. Especially since there are kits of this nature for some bikes. Heck, I drilled out the mufflers on my V-Max until I had the money to buy an exhaust.

Staged thread, I'm guessing.

I just put race baffles in mine and gutted the cats...seemed easier than changing the bearings and cheaper than buying the sound card. :whatwhat: :lol
