Completely agree. The Teknic pants I posted here were 2 sizes larger than what the sizing chart recommended.

Sorry about that. The pants are a woman's size 8, the 28 is the length - SHORT. Not sure why I got that length since I'm not really short (not tall either, but taller than that).

I think they would fit. I don't recall how much shorter you are than I (I'm thinking not much), so that might be the only reason they wouldn't.
