You do realize that direct injection is different from typical fuel injection? Carbs are not the only other option and regular fuel injection would make more sense to me. Either way, I'm not too...

I don't care that they have chosen to go with pushrods. Lots of bikes are sold everyday with pushrod valvetrains. What I don't get is why Motus is going through the hassle and expense of gasoline...

An engine's valvetrain does effect low end torque through their size and timing, but their method of actuation is irrelevant. Pushrod engines are typically designed to produce low end torque only...
