Oh how true. I grew up with a standard poodle. It was my mom's dog. He bit me several times. My mom told people, "He only bites members of the family."
He was one year older than me and my dad backed over him when he was 16 years old. I always wondered if it was on purpose..
Years later when I was in college my employer's toy poodle 'Squirt' would always chase us out of their house trying to bite our ankles.
