After owning the DRZ, I have gotten less interested in motards/supermotards. They aren't a practical street bike. You have to be in tight corners for them to be in their element, any sweepers and say goodbye to your friends on sportbikes. The supermotard not so much, but the range of them also makes it not much fun on the street. Filling up 80 miles is not the best.
The DRZ is not comfortable in the slighest if you spend all day on it, the test ride of the supermotard I did would make me think it would be along the same lines. The point of going GS is to leave the fast stuff behind too.
