I think Eric and I figured my trip home was about 700 or so. From ATL to here it took me 8 hours and that was roughly 500 miles. Eric took me the scenic route from the Gap to Cartersville which was a blast!
I ate and rested there for a couple of hours before heading back out. I should have paid more attention to the time because I got stuck in rush hour traffic. I pretty much WALKED the bike through that. Talk about having arm pump! Not to mention it took over a freakin' hour to get through it....*grumble grumble*
