Never had a slip out of either one, and I pushed them far harder than I should have.
Here is a pic of the first ride on my PP's. Yes that's snow. Yes those are snowmobile tracks in the gravel.
In fact, I raced a sled that was in the ditch right before this... I won.

All I can go off of is my own experience. Maybe your bike isn't powerful enough to break the tires loose.
It is a 600 class bike after all. My BT016's slipped all the time when it was that cold. PP's were much better in the cold but those were also on a less powerful bike.
