Hell I still play it and it's been updated completely. They added all the teams and update the rosters and even progressed the programing well beyond what you could do in the original NES game. It still rules.

The good games hang around, games like this will fade. No one hardly plays GTAIII anymore, no one will play this when the newer version comes out. It's not a classic and won't stick around like a classic.

Will that stop me from buying it, probably not. If I decide to stop being a cheap skate I may pick it up.
