Has it been health insurance or the cost of it been the improvement? Or, has it been the understanding and availability of antibiotics and antiviral medication? Or, even vaccinations?
I mean, we now understand washing your hands and cooking your food is important... refrigeration... these simple things can change whether or not you get sick to begin with.
