I usually wave 2 fingers down as well.
Funny thing as I've said before is that Vette owners wave at eachother...boaters wave at eachother when I'm out on the lake too so I tend to nod or wave at just about everybody
...as long as it doesn't endanger me or anyone else at the moment.
