That's cool.
Just don't get too caught up with lap times, sometimes that takes the fun out of a track day. I've had instances where I'll go out and "work it" in order to see if I can drop my times, just to come back and see 3 to 4 seconds +.

For me, I have to forget about laptimes and just ride. I love it when I'm out there just riding at what feels like 90% or so and I come back to see I dropped like 3-4 seconds...when things just flow and fall into place. Kinda like being in "the zone" I guess. I love those days.

Sometimes the best way to drop your times, is to NOT concentrate on dropping your lap times. Instead, concentrate on your lines, markers, braking, getting on the gas earlier, being smoother in general, etc...
