Ok, now imagine hearing the intake suction, the rattle of the clutch plates in the basket, and the beastly twin cylinder spooling up as you roll into the throttle on corner exit. See why I love mine so much?

They didn't
fix anything. It wasn't broken. It has become a Superbike trademark, just like the underseat exhaust, trellis frame, and (aside from the 749/999) the single sided swing arm. The 848 is more "economical" than previous middle weights...
