Not always true... bikes aren't completly like cars... the alternators don't put out as much juice... so starting an FI bike may not work by push start...
didn't work on my friends SV when his battery died...
don't know for sure though...
but like DLit said... talk to a dealer see if they know of a hidden master fuse.
